The stable release of Android 15 is now available for eligible Pixel devices, bringing with it a variety of new features. While not all features from the beta testing phase made it to the stable build, some, like the predictive back gesture, are being rolled out with Android 15. Android 16, the next version of Android, is expected to be released in late February 2025, and it will be available on more devices than previous Android versions. Google's own devices, starting with the Pixel 7 series, will be able to switch to Android 16, while older devices will continue to receive feature updates and security patches.
