Exploring Pratyayas & Māheśvara Sūtram in Sanskrit
In Advanced Sanskrit IV, students will broaden their understanding of Sanskrit grammar by exploring pratyayas like cit/cana (indefinite pronouns) and śatṛ (present participle suffixes) across genders and declensions. They will also be introduced to the Māheśvara Sūtram, learning its importance in interpreting Pāṇini's sūtras. This foundational knowledge will deepen their insights into classical Sanskrit grammar and the structure of the language.
