Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) Treatment, Webcast

Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) is a histologic lesion to glomerular podocytes resulting in glomerular sclerosis. Focal describes scarring of some but not all glomeruli while segmental pertains to sclerosis of some but not all glomerulus. The patchy presentation is significant as a kidney biopsy may or may not contain glomeruli involved in the disease process.
