GATE Exam is a national entrance examination conducted primarily for admission to postgraduate programs in science, engineering, technology, and architecture (M.E., M.Tech, and PhD). The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) collaborate to conduct it. Public sector organizations (PSUs) in India also often use GATE scores to hire applicants for a variety of roles.
