Indian Govt Bans 25 OTT Platforms Over Obscene, Pornographic Content
The Indian government has directed the blocking of 25 OTT platforms—including ULLU, ALTT (ALTBalaji), Big Shots, Desiflix and others—for streaming content deemed obscene, vulgar or pornographic. Legal experts say platforms must comply with IT Rules 2021, age ratings and grievance redressal mechanisms.
