Microsoft pledges $17.5 bn to scale India’s cloud & AI infrastructure
Tech giant Microsoft has committed US $17.5 billion — its biggest investment ever in Asia — over four years to expand cloud and AI infrastructure across India. The funds will build hyperscale data-centres, scale existing hubs, boost AI skilling for millions, and help shift the country from digital to AI-driven public infrastructure.
