There is always a pack of gum in the house. You may accidentally drop them or your kids could do it on purpose, but either way, the carpet is a potential hazard. People in your household or social group can unknowingly track gum inside if they step in it while they\'re outside. However, if the gum is stubborn, you may try using ice cubes to get it out of the carpet fibres. It is suggested that ice cubes be used to provide pressure to the gum for about 45 seconds. A successful attempt at this feat requires gum that has been frozen solid. Then, using a spoon, remove the gum from the carpet, and, using scissors, trim the carpet fibres to be as close as possible to the chunk of frozen bubble gum.
